Funeral services will be held for Timothy Jackson Ingram at 2:00 pm Friday, November 2, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Hominy, Oklahoma with Rev. Mark Formby officiating. Following services the body will be cremated under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Tim was born October 27, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of Clifford Jackson and Dorothy Ann (Lee) Ingram. As a young child Tim grew up in Tulsa and in 1964, moved with his family to Drumright, Oklahoma. During the time in Drumright and at the age of nine years old Tim accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Drumright by Pastor Bobb Ross. Following a short stay in Perryton, Texas the family returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma and in 1975, Tim moved with his family to Hominy, Oklahoma. While living in Hominy Tim was an active part of the Hominy Buck football team which won the State Championship in 1973. Following graduation from Hominy High School with the Class of 1973; Tim was offered a scholarship to play baseball for the Vikings at Carl Albert State College in Poteau, Oklahoma. After the completing his higher education Tim opened Ingram Lease Service in Seminole, Oklahoma. He operated the company for many years and later sold the operation and returned to Cleveland, Oklahoma. At that time of his return Tim began working as a welderís helper. He worked tirelessly and learned to art of welding and later began working as a journey- man pipefitter. After acquiring his credentials Tim worked throughout the United States and into Alaska for many years. For the past several years Tim was forced into retirement due to health reasons. During his time as a pipefitter, Tim has traveled to many places in the US and enjoyed the adventures when he was able to go fishing. He also spent many hours and nights hiking the on the Pacific Crest Trail which begins in Canada and stretches to Mexico. Tim spent many mornings with his mother reading and learning the Bible, drinking coffee, and playing with the dogs. Tim was most happy when he was traveling, hunting, fishing, or searching for fossils and arrowheads. Tim would often stop and be the ìGood Samaritanî and help people stranded. He was always charitable and willing to give to others. Timothy Jackson Ingram passed from this life peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2012 at his home in Cleveland at the age of 54 years and two days. Survivors are his loving mother Ann Ingram of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two brothers Stephen Lee Ingram of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Mark James Ingram of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nieces and nephew Andrea Webster, Hunter Ingram, Cori Ingram, Michaela Ingram, McKenna Ingram and numerous other relatives and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his father Clifford Jackson Ingram, one nephew Hayden Chase Ingram and paternal grandmother Martha Ingram.
