Steven McCoy

Steven Hermann McCoy passed from this life on October 19, 2025, at the age of 62 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Steven was born on April 16, 1963, in Crestview, Florida, the son of Franklin Delano McCoy and Linda Huhn. Steven grew up and attended school in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Following his education, Steven worked in the oil field for many years. He then moved to Texas and began working with his dad in construction. Steven later moved to Colorado, worked in commercial refrigeration unit remodeling in grocery stores, and traveled extensively during that time. He was then transferred to Memphis, Tennessee, where he owned Southwest Specialties. In 2007, Steven moved to Cleveland to work in construction and was currently working on oil leases. In 2008, Steven met Regina Anne Baker, and the two exchanged vows on December 18, 2023.

Steven had a love for banana pancakes and cabbage. He also tended to take on numerous projects and enjoyed collecting them. Among his hobbies were watching movies, reading, playing the guitar, and tinkering with various things. Steven was known for his distinct laugh and great sense of humor, which occasionally had a slightly twisted edge. For many years, he attended Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Through these experiences, Steven gained insights that allowed him to help others on their journey to sobriety. He was a licensed drug and alcohol counselor, assisting many individuals in finding their path to recovery. Steven was very active in the community and participated in numerous NA functions throughout the years.

Survivors are his wife Regina McCoy, three children Brandy Steiner, Kenneth McCoy, Jesse McCoy, mother Linda Lowe, siblings Marnida Armbruster and husband Charlie, Shanda Combs, Darren McCoy, Bryan McCoy; stepchildren Barbara Rhoten, Angela Waddill, Jennifer Garrett, Steven Ryder, two grandchildren Gage and Grant Steiner and a host of other relatives and friends.
