Shirley Ann Flores, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday June 27, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.

Shirley was born December 22, 1942, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Troy J. and Lela Lee (Tucker) Dixon. Shirley was raised in Osage where she began her education. Shirley later began attending school in Cleveland where she completed her education. Shirley was united in marriage to Larry Raney in 1959. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Elkhart, Kansas where they raised their three children. Following their divorce Shirley was later united in marriage to John Schaffer in 1971. The couple established their home in Walsh, Colorado. They owned and operated Plains Fertilizer where Shirley worked as the secretary. Following the death of John in 2005, Shirley sold the operation in 2008. In 2009, Shirley was united in marriage to Andres Flores, Jr. Following their marriage Shirley and Andy moved to Cleveland where she has continued to reside.

Shirley enjoyed doing things with her dog Spike, growing flowers, bird watching, feeding humming birds and her favorite show was Gunsmoke, she often quoted “Let Me Tell You Something”. Shirley enjoyed going places and always talked about traveling to different places. She loved to cook during the holidays and loved her Shih Tzu, Spike immensely. Shirley was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland. Shirley was baptized on August 2, 1952.

Survivors are her husband Andy of the home; three children Crystal Vigil of Canon City, Colorado, Mark Raney of Tucson, Arizona, Lisa Dunivan of Walsh, Colorado; step son Kurt Flores of Walsh, Colorado; one brother Buck Dixon of Hominy, Oklahoma, three sisters Marie Caldwell of Andersonville, Tennessee; Bonnye Upshaw of Cleveland, Oklahoma, June Cooke of Madison Heights, Virginia; sister in law Lupe Green and husband Kenny of Ft. Worth, Texas; five grandchildren Erik Bell, Chasity Parker, Tucker Dunivan, Tanner Dunivan, Victoria Dunivan; three great grandchildren Zachary Jackson, Evan Parker and Adelynn Parker as well as numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by parents and one brother Kenneth Dixon.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Hall officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at a later date in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
