Ronald Hays

Ronald Leroy Hays passed from this life on September 12, 2025, at the age of 81 in Hominy, Oklahoma.

Ronald was born on July 29, 1944, in Hominy, Oklahoma the son of William and Gracie (Parks) Hays. He grew up in Wynona where he attended school and later graduated from Wynona High School with the Class of 1962. Following high school Ronald moved to Tulsa, and began working and later started selling cars. He later began working in the oil industry and in the mid-1970s he and his brother Leo and a friend C.C. Whisenant started H and W Drilling. They owned and operated the company for many years. He later began working as a cross-country truck driver and he last worked for Ready Ice in Tulsa as a delivery driver. On August 30, 2009, Ronald was united in marriage to Norma Jean Adams in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ronald always enjoyed working on cars and traveling Colorado which was his favorite place to visit. He also enjoyed being around and spending time with his family.

Survivors are his wife Norma, sister Fern Woods, brother Leo Hays and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother Ronald was preceded in death by his two brothers Johnny Hays, Kenneth Griffin and a sister Norma Ingalls.
