Robert Leston Condray

Robert Leston Condray, a proud veteran, devoted father, and lifelong tradesman, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025. He was 78 years old.Born on October 25, 1946, in Levelland, Texas, Robert was the son of John Lee Condray and Oleta (Perky) Condray. He was raised with strong values of service, integrity, and dedication-principles that guided him throughout his life.

Robert honorably served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, First Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force. He served in connection with combat operations against the enemy in the Republic of Vietnam from September 20, 1969, to August 10, 1970. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Certificate of Commendation, and the Rifle Marksman Badge. He was honorably discharged from the USMC in March of 1975.After his military service, Robert pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with minors in Political Science and Psychology from Northeastern State University.

A skilled tradesman, Robert completed his apprenticeship at the Tulsa Pipe Trades Training School in 1979. He was a proud fifty-year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #430 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, dedicating his career to excellence in his craft.Robert had a passion for athletics and sportsmanship. As a young man, he excelled in football, basketball, and track. Later in life, he found great joy in coaching Little League baseball for his sons, creating memories they would cherish forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Oleta Condray; his sisters, Gail Frank and Glenda Condray; and his brother, Stephen Condray. Robert is survived by his two sisters Robin Leonard and Kathy Williams, two sons Travis Condray of Mannford, OK, and Spencer Condray and wife Carla of Flower Mound, TX. He is also survived by his beloved granddaughter, Fernanda Condray, of Flower Mound, TX, who brought endless pride and joy to his life.

Robert's legacy of strength, service, and quiet dedication will live on in all who knew and loved him.
