Pamela Blackburn

Pamela Sue "Pammie" Blackburn (Reed), born on July 23, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Jennings, Oklahoma. She was 67 years old. 

Pamela’s life was rooted in the heart of Oklahoma, where she was born and raised. She attended Keystone and Mannford schools. Over the years, she cultivated a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found joy in simple pleasures. Whether casting a line into a quiet lake, setting up camp under the stars, teeing off on a sunny afternoon, or spending time with horses, Pamela embraced life with a spirit of adventure and love for nature. She is survived by her brother Daniel McNair; sisters Kimberly Reed-Cotter and Sherri Olsen; and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory. Her beloved husband, Mark Blackburn, passed away just days after her on August 12, 2025—a testament to their enduring bond. 

Pamela was preceded in death by her daughter Tara Finney; her parents Wanda and John Reed; her sister Teresa Young; as well as grandparents, aunts, and uncles who were dear to her. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to all whose lives she touched. 

A Funeral Service will be held on October 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Grace Gospel Church 278 Devine Street in Jennings, Oklahoma with lunch to follow.
