Olin later graduated with the Class of 1957 from Lamont High School. Shortly after high school, Olin was united in marriage to Mitzi, and to that union, there are two children, Rod and Lisa, residing in Enid, Oklahoma. In 1966, Olin met Barbara Hutson and adopted and raised her five children, Gale, Kenny, Lori, Leroy, and Margaret, along with his two children in Terlton. Olin and Barbara had one child, Dawn. Olin always enjoyed working and being outdoors. For many years, Olin worked, built, and perfected woodburning stoves, selling them to many people in the area. Hunting and fishing were also things Olin enjoyed doing.
Camping at the lake when his kids were growing up was always a memorable event in the orange bus. Olin also taught his kids all how to water ski. Tinkering on cars or whatever needed fixing were things he enjoyed doing. Smoking meat while having family and friends over to eat was always a big event. Olin liked a good joke, staying busy while working hard to provide for his family. He was a longtime member of the Jennings Hebron Lodge 151 AF&AM and a Shriner for many years.
