Norma Jean Ingle, 74, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Saviour peacefully in her daughter's arms Friday, November 10, 2017, at in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Norma was born December 22, 1942, in Cleveland, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of John and Dot (Wallace) Buckland. Norma began attending school in Cleveland later graduating from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1960. Following high school, Norma started to work at Atlas Life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was later united in marriage to the love of her life Everett Olen Ingle on August 29, 1961, in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Following their marriage, the couple established their home in Cleveland. Norma later began working at Kerr-McGee where she worked until the closure of the facility in the mid-1970’s. Norma started Cleveland Flowers which she operated until she sold the operation in the late 70’s. Norma then worked as the director of the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce for several years. She then began working for the 22nd Governor of Oklahoma George Nigh at his office in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She operated his Tulsa office then later began working with the Department of Commerce. Norma was the export advisor for the Commerce Department at her retirement in 2000.

Norma loved being pampered going to spa’s and spending the day. She loved traveling taking several trips to Las Vegas, Oklahoma Casino Resorts and a trip to Hawaii. Norma also like fine dining as well as going to Joseph’s in Drumright. Norma has been a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland.

Survivors are her daughter the light of her life Elizabeth Ingle of Cleveland, Oklahoma; sister Sue Trommler of Camden, Arkansas, nieces Barbara Edwards of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Debra Sanders of Camden, Arkansas, Lesa Grayson of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Therisa Marlar of Ponca City, Oklahoma and a host of friends that she dearly loved. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett O. Ingle on December 21, 1992, and one brother Clinton Carrington.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Thursday, November 16, 2017, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Mark Tibey officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home or online at
