Norma Josephine Hall passed from this life on January 16, 2026, at the age of 103 in Cleveland, Oklahoma.Norma was born on September 8, 1922, in Elys, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Henry and Cora (Sulfridge) Cook. Norma grew up initially in Elys, later moved to Washington, D.C., and the Maryland area, where she completed high school at Anacostia High School. Following graduation, Norma worked at the US Mint for a short time before returning to Kentucky. She then moved to Miami, Florida, where she worked as a telephone operator for the railroad, then returned to Louisville, Kentucky, where she worked at a brewery. In the Winter of 1947, Norma was united in marriage to Lloyd G. Hall in Kentucky. The couple established their initial home in Four Mile and then moved to Cincinnati. They later moved to Almont, Michigan, before moving to Albuquerque. In the 1970's, Norma and Lloyd moved to Tulsa. While in Tulsa, Norma worked at the LaQuinta. In 1978, Norma and Lloyd moved to Hallett, and in 2001, Norma moved to Cleveland.Norma always enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, reading, and loud rock and roll music. She also enjoyed watching Perry Mason and Matlock.Survivors include her children Dwayne Hall, Susan Farrell, Betty Harrold, Shirley Booker, Philip Hall; grandchildren Ray, Jason, Tonya, Denay, Seth, Sebastian, Tashia, Karley, Jonathan, Jennifer, Michael, Amy, Jamie Sue, Mathias, Justin, Jorie, Don, Craig, Richard, Vanessa, Stephanie, Heather, Brandy; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hall; three children, Willie Scott, Brian Moore, and Gary Hall; siblings, Logan Cook and Mae Wilson; son in law Mark Harrold, James Farrell, and Jay Booker, and her grandson, Willie Paul Scott.
