Mickeal Ray Peterman passed from this life on January 11, 2026, at the age of 57 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mickeal was born on January 24, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Tommy Norman and Vonnie Floretta (Sutton) Peterman. Mickeal grew up and attended school in Cleveland, graduating with the Class of 1986. During his time in school, Mickeal was active in football, baseball, and wrestling. Mickeal completed his CLEET training and worked as a reserve officer for Jennings for several years. For many years, Mickeal operated Green Country Security. In 1996, he began working at American Airlines in the maintenance department. Following his retirement from American, Mickeal joined Spirit AeroSystems, where he retired in 2020.
Music, hunting, and fishing were his passions for many years. Mickeal always enjoyed playing his guitar and teaching others how to play. He and Kristi enjoyed traveling and going to different places in the US. Family time was a big part of Mickeal's life, and going to Charleston's was his favorite restaurant.
Survivors are his wife Kristi of the home, children Zach Cox of Tulsa, Oklahoma, siblings Tommy N. Peterman, Jr. of Searcy, Arkansas, Jessie A. Peterman of Keystone, Oklahoma, Norma F. Higgins and her husband Bob of Keystone, Oklahoma, Brenda L. Dyer and her husband Larry of Keystone, Oklahoma, brother Danniel Llewellyn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sister Angela Llewellyn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, nephew Jordan Llewellyn, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mickeal was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Vonnie Peterman, brother Jackie Peterman, and two sisters-in-law, Becky Peterman and Bev Peterman.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with Shawn Bitner officiating services. Burial will be held in the Sinnett Cemetery at Cleveland, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
