Melba Maye Waddle passed from this life on August 22, 2025, at the age of 83 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Melba was born on December 15, 1941, in Idabel, Oklahoma. Melba was the daughter of Daris Stout and Eunice (New) Stout. Melba grew up and attended school in Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she graduated with the Class of 1960. Following her education, Melba was united in marriage to Norvin Dean Waddle on December 10, 1960. The couple established their initial home in Ada, Oklahoma, later returning to Ponca City before moving to Tulsa in the late 1960s, where she continued to reside.

Survivors are Lavonda Cagle and husband Paul of Osage, Oklahoma, Melvonna Kruger and husband Rick of Lumberton, Texas, three siblings Douglas Stout of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Glenda Fields of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Terry Stout of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, grandchildren Cassidy, Colter, Ryder, Jaxon, Case, Leise; three great grandchildren Josie, Zack, Adeline and a host of other relatives and friends. Melba was preceded in death by her husband Dean Waddle, parents Daris and Eunice Stout, three brothers Daris Stout, Joseph Stout and Glen Stout.


Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Scott Blume officiating services.
