Mary Ann Gower

Mary Ann Gower passed from this life on July 27, 2026, at the age of 81, following a motor vehicle accident in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mary was born on March 20, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Elmer Dewitt Boatright and Augusta Lee (Napier) Boatright. Mary grew up and attended school in Tulsa, later graduating from Union High School.

As a dedicated homemaker, Mary Ann poured her heart into her family, Mary's unwavering love, kindness, and nurturing spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

Survivors are her children Bobby Self, Luther Gower, Donna Gower, Annetta Price, three grandchildren Billy Gower, Donna Gower, Derrick Murphy and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Augusta Boatright, husband Luther Gower, one son Allen Self, and a grandson Sammy Gower.

Services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel with Jason Thornton officiating services. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery.
