Wayne Crown, III

Marion Wayne Crown, III passed from this life on October 1, 2025, at the age of 21.

Wayne was born on April 29, 2004, in Tulsa, the son of Marion Wayne, Jr, "Rusty" and Cathleen Marie (Tucker) Crown. Wayne grew up in Cleveland, where he began kindergarten and later graduated from Cleveland High School with the Class of 2022. Following high school, Wayne began working at Marc Miller GMC in the parts warehouse. He later started working at Horizon Valve in Hominy. Wayne also worked at Wild Country before gaining employment at the Thunderbird Academy in Pryor, where he was currently employed. When Wayne was younger, he always enjoyed watching westerns and was also an avid Star Wars fan. He loved taking his cousins out target practicing and shopping. Currently, he served as the Youth Leader at Western Heights Baptist Church, where he started with a few in the youth group and has grown it to nearly 50 kids. Wayne had a passion for helping children and those in need. He believed he had a gift for helping others through their pain.

Survivors include his parents, Rusty and Cathleen, his grandmother, Ida James, and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion and Margaret Crown, Jim and Mary Tucker, and Edward James.

Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Western Heights Baptist Church, with David Head officiating. The family has requested that memorial donations be made in honor of Wayne to the Western Heights Youth Group at P. O. Box 282 Cleveland, Oklahoma . Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery at Pawnee, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
