Lois Marie Sharpnack passed from this life on August 10, 2026, at the age of 88, at her home surrounded by her family.
Lois was born on August 8, 1938, in Osage, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Cleophus "Cliff" Sutterfield and Opal Faye (Perkins) Sutterfield. Lois grew up and attended school in Osage. During her time in school, she was an active part of the basketball team. Following graduation from Osage High School in 1955, Lois moved to Chicago, Illinois to reside with her aunt. During that time, Lois began working as a telephone operator for several years before returning to Cleveland. On March 14, 1958, Lois was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Sharpnack in Hominy, Oklahoma. Lois started working as a legal secretary for Jay Byers before gaining employment with The Cleveland Bank, where she spent 39 years.
Lois always enjoyed the time spent with her family, grandkids, and great-grandkids, as well as the time with Bob on the front porch watching the squirrels and birds.
Survivors are her husband Bob of the home, three daughters Nancy Kinman and husband Jerold, Christy Sharpnack, Shelley Cowen and husband Mitch, four brothers Lee Sutterfield and wife Juanita, Ron Sutterfield and wife Sherry, Kenny Sutterfield and wife Vickie, Larry Sutterfield and wife Sherry; grandchildren Lea Ann Kinman, CJ Kinman, Bethanie Baird, Evan Baird and wife Jess, Mallory Freeman and husband Desmond, Guy Cowen, great grandchildren Wyatt Kinman, Karder Kinman, Hudson Freeman, Lainey Baird, Gus Lumley and a host of other relatives and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Cliff and Faye Sutterfield, grandson Jordan Baird.
Visitation will be held 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the Chapman-Black Funeral with a private burial at a later date in the Woodland Cemetery.
