Linda Ann Crain, 72, passed from this life on September 4, 2019, at her home in Cleveland, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 6, 1947, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Linda was the daughter of Samuel Joseph and Alice Lucille (Atterberry) Larmore. Attending school in Bartlesville, Linda graduated with the class of 1965. Following graduation, Linda moved to Springfield, Missouri, until 1974, when she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the late 1970s, the family moved to the Terlton area. Linda has worked at Judy Ann’s Restaurant, Hickory House, as well as Ward’s Café in all phases.
Linda loved spending time with her family for the holidays and watching her grandchildren’s sporting events. The Kansas City Chiefs was her favorite sports team. On Tuesday nights, you could find Linda at the Maramec Senior Center for game night. She had volunteered there for the past five years and helped with the lunches as well. Linda always enjoyed taking motorcycle trips to Branson.
Linda is survived by four daughters; Melissa McEntire and her husband Buddy, Stacy Youtsey and her husband Robin Kidd, Rhonda Walker and her husband Bobby, and Kimberly Johnson and her husband Jeremiah, all of Cleveland, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Devin and Katy McEntire, Colton McEntire and Sierra Humphrey, Gage and Alysha McEntire, Sarah McEntire and Spencer Hall, Josh McEntire, Ashley Youtsey and Travis Fergurson, Tyler Youtsey and Chrissie Collins, Dylan Youtsey and Ashely Woltjer, Bryan and Kara Walker, Misty and Shane Stiger, Jennifer and Keith Buntin, Chandler and Brianna Kauffman, Lane Walker, Kayleigh Brown, Samantha Brown, C.J. McEntire, Alyssa McEntire, Ericka and Justin Howard, Ariel Kidd and Donnie Ashely, Matt Kidd, Josh and Lindsey Kidd; 40 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding Linda in death is her parents, husband Alvin Crain, daughter Angela Denise Haguewood, and two brothers, Joe Larmore and Don King.
Visitation for Linda will be held Friday, September 6, 2019, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Grace Baptist Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Pastor Bob Elfrink will officiate. Services are under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. An online guestbook is available at www.chapman-black.com.
