Judith Ann Ward

My mom went home to be in the Presence of the Lord on August 24, 2026. I can think of no better way to honor her memory than to share her life's testimony of the saving and healing power of Jesus Christ. I can testify that in 1996, when I gave my life to Jesus, she was not shy about her faith in and love for God! I knew that for about 6 years after her diagnosis, while she was restoring her relationship and fellowship with God, she would have severe symptoms for several months out of each year. Then, after those 6 years, she never had a severe attack again for about 20 years. She ran a restaurant 7 days a week and jogged 3 times a week until they retired! Here is her testimony in her own words.

Judy Ann's Testimony

My name is Judy Ward. I am 53 years old, and my husband and I own and operate a restaurant. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in December of 1988. At that time, I was severely depressed for 6 months as I had double and blurred vision, extreme dizziness to the point of not even being able to sit p. I had extreme fatigue and could hardly walk. My legs were stiff and weak. I experienced all these symptoms and many more for many months. I was told that I had a relapsing and remitting type of MS. That meant at times, I would get better than a relapse for several more months. The only treatment was steroids, and they did not help much. There was no cure, and my doctors said they were doubtful there would be one anytime soon. I tried every "guinea pig" treatment that came along. But, praise God, a friend gave me a Kenneth Hagin tape on Divine Healing.

I had asked the Lord to come into my heart when I was in my teens. I knew Jesus died for my sins, but I had not been taught about the healing He died for, too. Now, in 1988, I was 44 and had not been in fellowship with the Lord for about 20 years. While listening to these healing tapes, faith rose up in me. For a couple of years, I devoured all the faith and healing teaching I could. In November of 1992, I went to a Benny Hinn healing Crusade in Little Rock, Arkansas. I did not have an instant manifestation of my healing, but something wonderful happened that changed my life. The Lord came into my life and started healing me from the inside out. My symptoms gradually disappeared - Praise God! Although from time to time the devil would try to put symptoms on me, and I know now how to defeat him and resist him. "Because greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

I love the Lord. He is everything to me, and I would not go back to my "old life," even if my healing was not manifested. I have indescribable joy and peace! If you are reading this letter or hearing this testimony and don't know where to turn. I can testify that all you have to do is "ask." He will teach you and guide you. He will set you free.
