Joy Annetta Ledbetter went to be with her Lord and Savior from this life on November 2, 2023, at the age of 65 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Joy "Grammy" was born on November 29, 1957, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Joy was the daughter of Leonard Eugene and Marilyn Irena (McSpadden) Nave. She grew up and attended school in Barnsdall graduating with the Class of 1976. Joy initially worked at Zebco in Tulsa before gaining employment with the Osage Tribe in Pawhuska. She worked in the office of the special trustees as their accounts manager. On April 7, 2000, Joy was united in marriage to Kevin Lee Ledbetter in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Joy retired from the Osage Nation in 2019 after 42 years of employment.

Joy loved being outdoors and going fishing. She always enjoyed the times stumping her grandbabies with her jokes, going shopping and eating at El Fogon. Joy would always lighten the room and had the most contagious smile. She always cherished the time spent with her neighbors and family around the firepit at their cozy little acreage by the lake. Most of all in life Joy loved her family, she was their rock. Joy was a member of the Skiatook Christian Church for many years. Joy was very proud of her Native American Heritage. She had her lineage traced back to the 1700s and found she was a descendant of John and Quatie Ross.

Survivors are her husband Kevin of over 23 years, two children Megan Loeffelholz and her husband Chad of Wann, Oklahoma, Jacob Oakes of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three sisters Tina Thomas and her husband Mike of Owasso, Oklahoma, Deanna Wigington and her husband Charles of Jenks, Oklahoma, Diane Hickert and her husband Roger of Colorado, Luann Murnan and her husband Wayne of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, two brothers Andrew Nave and his wife Kelley of Owasso, Oklahoma, Boyd Nave of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, six grandbabies Gracie, Chloie, Harlie, M.J., Paisley, Jettson, Ryah and a host of other relatives and friends. Joy was preceded in death by her father Leonard Nave, mother Marilyn Nave and one sister Sherry Nave.

Family will hold private services at a later date contact them for details. Family has requested memorial donations be made in honor of Joy to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
