Jonathon Charles Aubrey passed from this life on September 9, 2023, at the age of 37, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jonathon was born on November 1, 1985, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of William Wayne "Billy" and Pamela Sue (Henley) Aubrey. Jonathon grew up and attended school in Cleveland, where he completed his education. Jonathon initially moved to Ponca City, where he worked at Smith Home Furnishings for a time.
During their time in Ponca City, Jonathon and Whitney Payne had two children, Mason and Morgan Aubrey. While residing in Ponca City, he also played soccer for a local team. He later returned to Cleveland and was united in marriage to Kelsie Robinson, and to that union, there was one son, Jonathon James Aubrey. Jonathon worked several different jobs, including Fine Airport, a janitor at Cleveland Schools as well as for HCCCO construction building the Cleveland Water Plant.
Jonathon loved being outdoors, playing competitive soccer, camping, and fishing. He also loved playing pool. Jonathon loved visiting with anyone and everyone and never met a stranger. He will always be remembered for his humor and quick wit.
Survivors include his three children, Mason, Morgan, and J.J. Aubrey; parents Billy and Pam Aubrey of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two brothers, Nick Aubrey and Ana Spitalli of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jordan Aubrey and his wife Tahler of Cleveland, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents Orville and Glenda Henley of Wynona, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. His paternal grandparents, Charles Aubrey and Zetta Aubrey, preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the Antioch Christian Fellowship Church in Wynona, Oklahoma with Wayne Brown officiating services. The burial will be held in the Woodland Cemetery under the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Jonathon at www.chapman-black.com.
