JC Little

Jarvis Carroll Little, 94, known as J.C., passed from this life on September 27, 2025, at his home.

J.C. was born on January 14, 1931, at Sperry, Oklahoma, the son of Jarvis Willie and Grace Edith (Marrow) Little. J.C. grew up and attended school until moving to California at a young age, later returning to Cleveland. J.C. joined the United States Army in 1949 later discharged in 1953. On April 7, 1951, he was united in marriage to Freda May Darrow in Huntsville, Arkansas. Initially, they resided in Sperry for eight years, and in 1959, they moved to Cleveland. J.C. began working in the oil field at Sooner Pipe and Supply, which was later sold to Big Heart Pipe and Supply. J.C. later began working as a pumper, retiring in 1996 from KWB Management.

J.C. always enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and sitting down with a drink. Visiting the VFW was also a place where you could find J.C. socializing with his friends.

Survivors include his children Brenda Williams and husband Dewayne, Rex Little and his wife Nicole, Linda Melton, grandchildren Bobby Underwood and wife Rachel, Ashley Totten and husband Nick; Samantha Little and wife Brooke, Charisse Marks and husband Russ, Betty Skeen and husband Josh, Dean Melton; great grandchildren Brooke Nischt and husband Kyle, Sydney Underwood, Belle Bartley and husband Ryan, Kalob Underwood, Maverick Totten, Nevaeh Totten, Isabelle Marks, Evelyn Marks, Gabriel Marks, Jerry Dean Skeen, Avery Skeen, Mylayzjah Skeen, great great grandchildren Henli and Page Nischt, Colter Bartley and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, J.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Little, his daughter, Betty Little, and a sister, Donna Byrom.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Resthaven Cemetery in Sperry, Oklahoma, with Robert Annett officiating.
