Funeral services for Gloria Sue Casebolt will be held on date, 2026, at the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma, with Pastor Justin White officiating. Gloria Sue Casebolt was born on February 9th, 1940, to Lloyd E. and Oletta O. Hooper. Born at Morning Side Hospital (now Hillcrest). Gloria would join her 3 siblings who eventually made their home near Shell Creek, Oklahoma just west of Sand Springs. Those siblings were Doris June, Carl Richard, and Delmar Lee. Gloria attended Anderson Elementary (later Rock Creek Middle School) after the family moved back from Seneca, Illinois where they worked in the shipyards during World War II. With her siblings already attending school in Shell Creek, Gloria's family tried to enroll her in school as well. The principle, Mr. Davis, looked at Gloria and said "nope, her legs are too short to walk that two miles." She had to wait a year and went on to be one of the teacher's favorites. Gloria would live in Benton, Arkansas, New Jersey and finally Sand Springs where she attended high school through her senior year. Gloria had good grades and enjoyed tutoring others in school including one of her brothers. Many friends and family loved and knew her as Susie.

Gloria married Richard Casebolt on January 18, 1971, in Huntsville, Arkansas and the couple moved to Cleveland shortly afterwards. They began Arc Electric Inc. that same year and operated their business while raising a family. Their combined family dynamic would mean establishing a home west of Cleveland that had room for raising many kids. Gloria worked with her husband in the office of Arc Electric after their kids were older. Raising her kids was the primary focus of her life and her children all grew up believing they had the best mom that this world had to offer.

Some of Gloria's hobbies were good books, watching late night TV, listening to her favorite music, cooking, and having a morning cup of coffee while bird watching. Her other outdoor pastimes over the years included fishing, gardening, planting flowers and a few landscaping projects including cleaning thousands of small rocks by toothbrush for her flower bed (also employed as discipline for disobedient kids during that time). At family gatherings Gloria enjoyed playing card games like nertz and she was a great storyteller when you could get her started. Gloria was baptized at Broadway Baptist Church and most recently attended Western Heights Baptist Church.

Gloria passed away from this life on January 22, 2026, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. Survivors include seven children Ray Grieves of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Renee Holloway and Johnny of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Lea Ann Pry and Les of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Scott Casebolt and Diana of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Jack Grieves and Patricia of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Terri Garrett and Jimmy of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Richard Casebolt and Vicki of Kansas City, Missouri; twenty grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson as well as numerous other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Llyod and Oletta Hooper, husband Richard Casebolt, daughter Elizabeth Grieves, her sister Doris Reilly, two brothers Carl Hooper, Delmar Hooper and a son-in-law Delane Sykes.
