Funeral services for Frankie Louie Henderson, 70, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, in Skiatook, Oklahoma with Brother Dale Nielson officiating. Private burial will be held in Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.
Frankie was born on November 27, 1946, in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was the son of Louie and Mamie Jean (Smith) Henderson. Frankie was raised in Skiatook and attended school in Skiatook and Enid, Oklahoma. Frankie worked for the City of Skiatook until he retired following an accident. Frankie worked mowing yards and helping others throughout his life. You could often find him riding his bicycle or driving around town.
Frankie loved watching movies and tending to his dogs.
Frankie passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home.
Survivors are wife Kay of the home, two sisters Nina Gill and her husband Will of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Mary Powell of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Carl Haskell.
