Floyd Ray Jones was born January 18, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Frances Jones and Mildred (Eunice) Jones. Floyd went home to be with the Lord March 9, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Floyd worked at Maxwell Supply years where he retired. On July 4, 1989, he married his loving wife Barbara (Phillips) Jones sharing 32 years with her three children Raymond, Kathy, and Diann. Floyd was of the Assembly of God faith. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting with his grandson Cody and playing with his great grandchildren Jayden, Tyler, and Alayna. He loved talking to everyone and telling his stories. He loved his family and they all loved him. Floyd's nickname was Peanut but to everyone he was Grandpa.

Floyd Jones is survived by his wife Barbara (Phillips) Jones of the home. Two children Kathy Jean Fritts of Collinsville, Oklahoma; Lucille Diann Lindsey and husband Les of Jennings, Oklahoma; Three sisters Brenda Hensley of Kentucky; Jennett Bickerstass of Tulsa; Patty Millifer of Tulsa, Two Brothers Robert Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma; twin brother Lloyd Jones of Foyil, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Wiseman, Brian Fritts, Leslie Blackburn, Charles Rogers, Bradley Fritts, Cody Wilson whom was more of a son, Issac Rogers, Heather Simmons; sixteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, son Raymond Rogers, brother Dinky Jones, sister Mary Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 14, 2022, at 10:30am at First Assembly of God Church in Jennings, Oklahoma. Final resting place at Jennings cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home of Cleveland, Oklahoma. Pallbearers are Cody Wilson, Seth Blackburn, Dalton Blackburn, Johnathan Simmons, Les Lindsey, and Eugene Evans. Honorary Pallbearers Cody Wilson, Seth Blackburn and Dalton Blackburn.
