Donna Faye Byrom

Donna Faye Byrom passed from this life on August 14, 2023, at the age of 85 in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Donna was born on June 28, 1938, near Bristow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jarvis William and Grace (Poe) Little. She grew up and attended school at several locations, including Olive, Silver City, and completed her high school at Sperry, Oklahoma. Donna soon accepted a position with a local insurance agency in Tulsa, where she worked as a secretary. Donna was later united in marriage to Raymond Reed Byrom on August 24, 1957, in Pawnee, Oklahoma establishing their initial home in Cleveland. They later moved to Sand Springs before purchasing property on Keystone Lake, where she was currently residing. Donna worked for many years with Kathleen Thomison hanging wallpaper and painting homes for many years. Donna later began working at Bartley Insurance Agency in Mannford, where she worked for over ten years when she retired.

Donna had a hobby of making porcelain dolls. She also crocheted, knitted, sewed, and quilted for many years. She was awarded the Most Outstanding in Tulsa at a local competition. Donna spent many hours embroidery quilts and tea towels. She also enjoyed decorating and rearranging the house on occasion. The most memorable trip was to Florida with Vicky in April of this year and drove the coast to Galveston, Texas.

Survivors are two children Vicky Findley of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Randy Byrom of Cleveland, Oklahoma, one brother Carol Little of Cleveland, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Her parents Jarvis and Grace Little, husband, Raymond, and daughter Jana Gail Kennedy preceded Donna in death.

Burial will be held in the Sinnett Cemetery at Cleveland, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Donna at www.chapman-black.com.
