Billie Hyatt

Billie I. Hyatt passed from this life on November 12, 2025, at the age of 73 in Hallett, Oklahoma.

Billie was born on January 1, 1952, in Hobbs, New Mexico, the daughter of Lee H. and Ruth Ester (Rains) Perry. Billie moved with her parents as a young girl and grew up and attended school in rural Hallett. Billie initially attended school in Hallett before attending Cleveland, where she graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 1970. Soon after high school, Billie moved to Joplin, Missouri, and worked as an accountant at Myers, Scarbrough, and Baker. In 1974, Billie returned to Hallett and started a tax preparation service and also worked at the Cleveland Tag Agency. She later began working at Cleveland Manor as an office manager for several years so she could be close to her mother. In 2001, she began working at Moore Health Care, where she retired in 2016. Billie continued tax preparation and retired in 2023 due to illness.

Billie had a beautiful gift for making everyone feel seen, loved, and included. She was the one who always made sure we captured every moment with pictures so those memories would last forever. She never let anyone leave without a gift in their hands and warmth in their hearts. Walking into her home meant you were welcomed like family, wrapped in her kindness, and reminded of how deeply she cared. She created a world where no one ever felt forgotten, and her love will always be one of the most significant parts of our story.

Billie was a woman whose life was beautifully centered around family. Being with the people she loved was her greatest joy, and many of her happiest memories were made on camping trips, where cooking breakfast at camp became a beloved tradition. She traveled across the United States with the love of her life, enjoying cruises, visits to Las Vegas, and attending countless car shows that brought fun and excitement to her days. Billie found comfort and purpose in the outdoors, working in her yard and decorating for Christmas. Billie's dog Coco held a special place in her heart and was with her by her side until the very end.

Survivors are her husband Bill, Sr. of the home, children Amy Quinn of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Donnie Cheek of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Bill Hyatt, Jr and his wife Sherry of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rick Hyatt of Tulsa, Oklahoma, brother Jerry Perry of Hallett, Oklahoma, grandchildren Nicholas Green, Dylan Cheek, Lindsey Smith, Hayden Goad, Justice Quinn, Brittney Quinn, Tyler Quinn, Alyssa Kelsey, Wendy Van Ness, Jennifer Tyler, Curtis Hyatt, Tara Wallace, Ryan Davis, Shane Davis, Eric Hyatt, Cassandra Ausbrook, Carrie Jimenez, Stephen King, Sampson King, Sarah Corbin, Kathyrn Coleman, Stephanie Norris and a host of great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
