Beverly Ann Bales

Beverly Ann Bales passed from this life on September 6, 2026, at the age of 77 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Beverly was born on October 4, 1948, in Hominy, Oklahoma she was the daughter of Edward Marion Zickefoose and Lela Alice (Lord) Zickefoose. Beverly grew up and attended school in Keystone later graduated from Mannford High School with the Class of 1966. After high school Beverly was united in marriage to Rex Wayne Bales on July 26, 1969, at Keystone General Baptist Church. Following their union the couple resided in the Keystone Area of Cleveland, Oklahoma. For many years Beverly maintained the books for the church and played the piano for many years. She later worked at Pedrick Laboratories (Vigo Dog Food) in the 1970's.

Beverly took on many jobs from family and friends making cakes, clothing as well as a upholstery. Cooking was one of her favorite things to do for everyone. Beverly made everyone's favorite dish and desserts. She was also very active as a volunteer at the Keystone Schools for many years.

Survivors include her children Brian Bales and wife Linda, Amy Johnson; grandchildren Dylon Powell and wife Tiffany, Bryce Bales, Brianna Johnson, Alyssa Bales and Blake Kelsey, Reagan Johnson, Zach Johnson and wife Payyton and Laurie Johnson; nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Rex Bales, parents Rev. Edward and Lela Zickefoose, siblings Gary Zickefoose, Bruce Zickefoose and a son-in-law Todd Johnson.
