Alexandria Zane Rogers

Alexandria Zane Rogers, known affectionately as "Lexie," passed away on August 14, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on January 13, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lexie was the beloved daughter of Zack and Shantel Rogers and the cherished sister of Allison and Elizabeth Rogers.

Lexie brought joy to those around her with her ornery scowl that could brighten any room. Described as feisty and a character, she had a vibrant spirit that won the hearts of everyone she encountered. Lexie had a special talent for singing and dancing, which she embraced wholeheartedly. Her love for playing with her sisters was undeniable, and they shared countless unforgettable moments together. She had a fondness for Barbies and would spend hours creating different scenarios with them. Whether it was building magnificent creations with Legos or imagining herself in the magical world of Frozen, Lexie's imagination knew no bounds.

Lexie began her educational journey at Cleveland Primary School, where she eagerly soaked up knowledge and built friendships that would last a lifetime. Her presence within the school community will be deeply missed.

Lexie touched the lives of many with her infectious laughter and vibrant personality. The memories she leaves behind will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her time with us was tragically cut short, the impact she made on this world will leave an indelible mark.

In this time of loss, let us remember Lexie's zest for life and the joy she brought into our hearts. She may no longer be physically present, but her spirit will forever shine brightly within each one of us. May we find solace in the memories shared and the eternal love she leaves behind.

Rest in peace, dear Lexie. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

In addition to her immediate family, Lexie is survived by her grandparents Rick and Theresa Rogers of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Larry and Helen Luney of Purdy, Missouri; Uncle Joe and Aunt Katy McClain of Skiatook, Oklahoma; Uncle Darren and Aunt Pam Griffis of Stockton, Missouri; and her treasured cousins, Titus, Noah, Emma, Mimi, Hannah and Hailey, as well as numerous relatives and friends who were touched by her bright spirit.

To honor Lexie's memory, several events have been planned, the first event is a Life Celebration scheduled for August 26, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., at First Christian Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma, followed by a reception with some of Lexie's favorite foods.

There will be a private final farewell and the laying of Lexie's earthly body to rest at Sinnett Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will oversee the arrangements. There is a memorial website for Lexie at www.chapman-black.com.
