Zola Aleta Creech

Zola Aleta Creech, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 in rural Pawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Zola was born November 29, 1917 the daughter of William A. and Fanny Louise (McCrea) Creech. As a young girl Zola moved with her family to Titanic, Oklahoma a small community near Tahlequah. She was raised and received her education in Titanic and later graduated high school from Tahlequah. Zola later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1950. While residing in Tulsa she gained employment with Spartan as a sheet metal installer. Zola continued working at Spartan for over 20 years. Ms. Creech also volunteered and donated to the Animal Aid Shelter for many years. She did various sewing jobs for her family, neighbors and friends. However, Zola loved working in her yard. She would spend countless hours tending to her flowers and plants which won her many awards for her work. One of her favorite sayings is that ìif you tell your age you will tell anything.î Survivors are her survivors Betty Bryant and her husband James of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Vernon and Ramona Jackson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dorothy Forbes of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Joyce Bryant and her husband Leroy of Skeedee, Oklahoma, Diana and John Herald of Texas, Bradley Creech and his wife Kathy of Arizona, Grady Eugene Creech of Jenks, Oklahoma, Billy Creech, one sister Elsie C. Smith and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents Zola was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
