Timothy Eugene Spencer

Timothy Eugene Spencer was born August 14, 1964 in Drumright, Oklahoma the son of Garland Eugene and Joyce Darlene Shannon Spencer. Tim attended school in Oilton where he later graduated in 1982. While in school Tim was active in Future Farmers of American, baseball and football. Tim often showed his prize pigs in the local county fairs as well as the Tulsa State Fair. After high school Tim went to work on the pipeline as a welderís helper with his grandfather Melvin Shannon. After several years he attended school in Phoenix, Arizona where he learned how to operate heavy equipment. Tim then returned to the Jennings area where he worked at several different jobs until he became disabled in 2003.

Tim loved to go fishing. However he really enjoyed spending his time writing poetry, drawing and spending time in the country.

Tim passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at his home in Jennings, Oklahoma at the age of 43 years 2 months and 10 days. He was preceded in death by his father Garland Spencer, paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.

Survived by his loving parents, Joyce and Bobby Ryan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Teresa Spencer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; other siblings, Heath Spencer of Mannford, Oklahoma; Gabrielle Spencer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Spencer of Mannford, Oklahoma; step sister, Susan McClain of Tulsa, Oklahoma; niece and nephew, Sarah and Ryan McClain both of Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Monday, October 29, 2007 at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary of the Mannford Full Gospel Church with Pastor Larry Schiller officiating. The cremated remains will be buried privately in the Jennings Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
