Terry A. Dickson

Terry Ann Dickson passed from this life on October 2, 2019, at the age of 77, at her home.

Terry was born on February 17, 1942, in Crescent, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of Clifton Arthur and Glee (Ford), Tomberlin.  Terry attended school in the Pauls Valley area.  She raised her family there until later, uniting in marriage to Curtis Franklin Dickson, Sr, in March of 1983.  The two raised their blended family in the Prue area of Oklahoma where they have made their home.  Terry has worked at Cupid as well as a barber in Hominy for many years.  Terry helped Curt with his hotshot business doing paperwork and bookkeeping. 

Terry enjoyed sewing.  She made welding hats, clothes, costumes for the kids, formal dresses, and blankets for nearly every family member.  She loved traveling, shopping as well as the nicer things in life.  Terry was also an excellent cook.  Terry is described as a fine ruby, that was mild-mannered with smiling eyes.

Terry is survived by her husband Curt of the home, ten children Billy Charles O’Neal and his wife Rose, Wendy O’Neal of Lindsey, Oklahoma, Tracy Gill of Lindsey, Oklahoma, Penny Dickson and her husband Vernon of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Curtis Dickson, Jr. and Candace of Prue, Oklahoma, Kerry Dickson and wife Tammy of Prue, Oklahoma, Valerie Traster and her husband Virgil of Prue, Oklahoma, Candy Brown and her husband Charlie of Cleveland, Oklahoma, William Dickson of Prue, Oklahoma; five siblings Claudia Brown of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Linda Sells of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Connie Reynolds of Waurika, Oklahoma, Tommy Tomberlin of Corpus Christi, Texas; twenty two grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her two siblings Kay Alfred and Tony Tomberlin.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, October 7, 2019, at the Osage Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 1 pm till 6 pm at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.  Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
