Sue Lytle

Brenda Sue Lytle, 66, known by most as Sue, passed from this life on October 23, 2019. Born on May 17, 2019, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, Sue was the daughter of Arthur Howard and Betty Jo (Shockley) Lock. Sue began her education in Henryetta and later moved with her family to Sand Springs when she was in the third grade. Sue later graduated Charles Page High School with the class of 1971. Following her education, Sue moved to Terlton, Oklahoma. Sue has worked several locations including Southwest Tube in Sand Springs, Word Industries in Cleveland and lastly at Job Corps. However, her favorite job was being a mom and grandmother to her kids and grandchildren. On September 3, 1993, Sue was united in marriage to Timmy Dewayne, Tim Lytle, in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple established their home in Cleveland where they have continued to reside.
Sue and Tim always enjoyed being outdoors. Sue also helped with local events or filling in when needed at the Keystone Golf Course. Sue and Tim also enjoyed taking cruises to Mexico, Jamaica, and the Caribbean Islands. One of her most memorable trips was to the Rose Bowl & Parade in 2018. Of course, Sue and Tim were following the Sooners as they did quite often. But most of all, Sue’s grandchildren were her life. To pass the time, Sue would watch Lifetime Movies, scrapbook, sew, and watch Sooner Football. When telling the grandkids how much she loved them, she would tell them “To the moon and back… and more than all the stars in the galaxy….”
Sue is survived by her husband Timmy of the home; three children, Amy Moore of Hominy, Oklahoma, Daniel Long of Kansas City, Missouri, and Amberlea Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister Linda Nix of Mounds, Oklahoma; father-in-law, Ivan Lytle of Cleveland, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, Kaleb, Jacob, Dustin, Mackenzie, Jaycie, Kaelea, Kaden, Rowdy, Kinlee, Nelson, and Weldon; and twelve great-grandchildren. Preceding Sue in death are her parents, Howard and Betty Lock, and a brother, Art Lock.
A visitation will be held for Sue on Sunday, October 28, 2019 from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. A life celebration will be held Monday, October 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Western Heights Baptist Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Sue will be laid to rest in Dixie Bear Creek Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma. An online guestbook is available at www.chapman-black.com.

Pallbears will include Kaleb Moore, Jacob Moore, Dustin Moore, Austin Woodrell, Dylan Youtsey and Tyler Youtsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Tabor.
