Sawyer James Neel

Infant son of Jim and Ashleigh (Hurd) Neel, Sawyer James departed this life on Friday, March 5, 2010 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Survivors include his loving parents Jim and Ashleigh Neel; paternal grandparents Jenny Neel Mayoza, Jim Neel and Jim Mayoza all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents Dixie Hurd of Wynona, Billy Hurd of Ripley, Oklahoma; paternal great grandparents Louise Knight of Tulsa, Oklahoma; maternal great grandparents Bobbi and Gene Taylor of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, Pat and Bill Hurd of Wynona, Oklahoma; uncle David Neel of Shreveport, Louisiana; two aunts Gwen Neel of Shreveport, Louisiana, Khammi Hurd of Austin, Texas as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Sawyer was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather Dean Knight; paternal great grandparents Larry and Mary Neel and maternal great grandfather Kennith Howell. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Gary "Doc" Blevins officiating.
