Church services for Ronnie Ray Baker, Sr. will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Oakhill Church on Keystone Lake with Rev. Harrel Jones officiating. The body will be cremated following the services will be under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Ronnie was born on August 27, 1942 in Minco, Oklahoma. He was the son of Andrew ìAceî Calvin and Euleta Lovena (Cox) Baker. As a young man Ronnie was raised and received his education in Minco where he completed his education. Following high school Ronnie joined the United States Navy. Ronnie served his country for over four years when he was discharged on February 11, 1965. Upon his discharge Ronnie returned to the Oklahoma City area. At that time Ronnie was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Gessel. The couple established their initial home in Oklahoma City where they have continued to reside until they moved to Cleveland. During his time in Oklahoma City, Ronnie drove a taxi for Yellow Cab as well as a limousine. Ronnie was a man that Jesus saves and no man can ever take that from you. He enjoyed studying Godís word line by line and verse by verse. Ronnie was a man that loved his family and especially his grandchildren. One thing most in life Ronnie wanted was for everyone he knew to come to Jesus Christ. Ronnie Ray Baker, Sr. of Cleveland, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the age of 68 years and six months. Survivors are his wife Elizabeth of the home, three children Elisha Deann Kysar and her husband Terry of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Ronnie R. Baker, Jr. of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Andrew Calvin Baker, III of Cleveland, Oklahoma; mother Euleta Baker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers John Baker, Erick Baker both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four sisters Kathy Baker, Elisha Black, Jana Tolepson, Julie Beth all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren Britany, Brian, Joey, Kenneth, Kevin, Kristen, Valerie, Jonathon; fourteen great grandchildren Dakota, Tyler, Ivy, Sky, Seth, Mariah, Alex, Allyssa, Raylynn, Deonta, Lyra, Charles, Valerie, Jonathon and a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his father Andrew "Ace" Calvin Baker, Jr.; two brothers Joe Baker, Dan Kessler and a sister Becky Baker.
