Ronald Ray Toothman, passed away in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the age of 49. Ronnie was born on born January 31, 1960 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma the son of Ray Gene and Betty Louise (Rickner) Toothman. As a young man Ronnie grew up and began his education at Prue. He later graduated from Prue High School with the class of 1979. Soon after high school he gained employment with Marlay Drilling Company in Cleveland. Ronnie later began working for Lustran of Tulsa and then in 1985, he became self employed and began working as a carpenter. Ronnie then entered into the service of his country and joined the United State Air Force. After the completion of his active duty Ronnie returned to Prue, Oklahoma. In the late 1990ís, Ronnie accepted employment with Lewis Industries as a pipefitter. Ronnie had been currently working for Central Oil Field in Sapulpa, OK for the past year. Ronnie enjoyed spending his time fishing. Fishing was his way to spend time clearing his thoughts and being with his friends and family. He would often camp and fish for days at a time. Ronnie also collected antique cars as well as old trunks. During the times fishing he would take time and hunt for arrow heads. Ronnie had a big heart for stray animals. He would take them in and nourish them back to health. Survivors include his four children Kody Toothman, Ashley Toothman, Wade Toothman, Caler Toothman; mother Betty Toothman of Prue, Oklahoma, one brother Randy Toothman of Avant, Oklahoma, several grandchildren as well as a numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ray Toothman and one sister Pam Fast. Church services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Prue First Baptist Church with Rev. Garry McDevitt and Chaplain Steve Haley officiating. Burial will be on the family plot in the Prairie View Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc. in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
