Roger Ditto Hickson

Roger Ditto Hickson, a resident of Terlton was born September 1, 1941 in Terlton, Oklahoma to Jesse Don and Lucille Elvira Hickson. Ditto was raised and received his education in Terlton. Soon after school Ditto entered the United States Navy and was later honorably discharged. Ditto returned to the Terlton area and started to work for Flint Steel at Sand Springs in 1960. Ditto later retired from Flint Steel in 1980. He then gained employment with Payne County as a dump truck driver for a couple of years. Ditto was currently employed with Tender Dozer Service at Carney, Oklahoma. Ditto always loved to work his cattle during his spare time.

Ditto passed away December 6, 2001 at Tertlon, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years 3 months and 5 days. He was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, Jesse Don Hickson, Jr. and Roy Dennis Hickson.

Survived by 2 Sons, Wesley Ditto Hickson, Bristow, Oklahoma; Guy Douglas Hickson, Glenpool, Oklahoma; 5 Brothers, Bailey Hickson, Cleveland, Oklahoma; Robert Hickson, Mannford, Oklahoma; Bill Hickson, Terlton, Oklahoma; Dan Hickson, Terlton, Oklahoma; Ray Hickson, Terlton, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as numerous other realtives and friends.

Memorial services will be held December 15, 2001at 2:00 PM at the Terlton Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Speck and Rev. George Boston officiating the services under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
