Robert Benjamin Thompson, 56, passed from this life on March 18, 2021, in Jennings, Oklahoma.

Robert was born on December 3, 1964, in Plainville, Kansas the son of Lawrence Roy and Carolyn Sue (Jackson) Thompson. Robert grew up in Kansas and Oklahoma finishing his education at the Drumright, Oklahoma. Robert then began working in the oil field as a roughneck throughout Oklahoma. Then on July 2, 1983 in Bristow, Oklahoma Robert was united in marriage to Pamela Raylene Maze where they established their initial home. Following the downturn in the oil field Robert began working in the glass industry. He was initially employed with Bartlett Collins in Sapulpa where he worked for over 20 years. During his time at Bartlett Collins Robert furthered his education at The University of Phoenix completing his Associates Degree in business management. In the early 1990's Robert and Pamela moved to the Cleveland Area. He later accepted a position with Arkansas Glass Container in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In 2009, Robert and Pamela returned to the Cleveland Area and he began working for Ardagh Glass where he was currently employed as the hot end shift supervisor.

Robert had many hobbies and things he enjoyed doing. Some of them include playing his guitar and singing, playing golf, fishing, paint balling and woodworking. He also enjoyed being outdoors riding motorcycles, ATV's and traveling taking trips with his wife. One thing certain is that Robert was always busy doing something.

Survivors include his wife Pamela of the home, two children Adam Joel Thompson and his wife Marsha of Jennings, Oklahoma, April Raylene Thompson of Cleveland, Oklahoma; parents Larry and Carolyn Thompson of Lake Crest, Oklahoma; two siblings William Thompson of Lake Crest, Oklahoma, Diana Thompson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren Emily, J.R., Kody, Zoe, Baily, Wyatt, Rowdy, Gage, Titan and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his brother Larry Thompson, Jr. and brother-in-law Jason Maze
