Rita Jo Monforte

Rita Jo Monforte, was born July 6, 1960 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma she was raised by her parents Calvin Ray and Linda Jean (Smith) Bridge in the Cleveland area. Rita attended schools in Cleveland and in October of 1986 she moved to Newton, Kansas. In 1996 Rita returned to Oklahoma and was currently living in the Stillwater Area.

Rita was a collector of arts and crafts as well as ìTinsî. She also enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren. One of her greatest accomplishments was raising her children and helping to raise her grandchildren.

Rita passed away April 4, 2004 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 43 years 8 months and 28 days. She was preceded in death by mother as well as a step son Jerry Wheeler.

Survived by her husband, Jack Wheeler, of the home; daughter Crystal and husband Don Goforth of Stillwater, Oklahoma; son, Michael and his wife Diane Monforte of Enid, Oklahoma; son Nicholas and his wife Chrystal Monforte of Pawnee, Oklahoma; step daughter, Melissa Howard of Del City, Oklahoma; three sisters, Irene Underwood of Skiatook, Oklahoma; Charlotte and her husband David Hager, Parsons, Kansas and Terri Bridge of Cleveland, Oklahoma; father, Calvin Bridge of Cleveland, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren Colby, Jennifer, Brett, Melanie, Coleman, Kaitlyn and Brieonna as well as numerous other relatives and friends

Services will be held 10:00 am, Friday April 9, 2004 at Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with services officiated by Rev. Don Queen. Burial will follow at Dixie-Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
