Peter Laszlo Kiss

Funeral services for Pete Kiss will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 2:00 pm at the Escape Ministry with Pastor Bob Thompson officiating. Following the services the body will be cremated under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Peter Laszlo Kiss passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years, five months and four days. Survivors include is one daughter Dakota Kiss of home, mother Theresa Anderson of Cleveland, Oklahoma, sister Margaret Jenkins of Odenton, Maryland; brother Damien Brown of San Deigo, California, aunt Judy Szot of St. Louis, Missouri, great aunt Dr. Merdith Gonyea of Washington, D.C., uncle Steven Szot of Washington, D.C., uncle James Szot of Maryville, Tennessee and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Laszlo Kiss, one brother Derek Brown as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents. Pete was born October 3, 1960, in Schenectady, New York. He was the son of Laszlo and Theresa Ann (Szot) Kiss. As a young boy Pete began his education in Schenectady and attended Mont Pleasant School. Following the completion of his education Pete began working for James Strates Shows. Pete traveled with the carnival throughout the United States for over 15 years. Pete later moved to Orlando, Florida where he worked as a trim carpenter. In the early 1990ís, Pete moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and in 2005, he moved to Cleveland. During his time in Oklahoma Pete was a core buyer and took his product to the local recycling facility. Pete had a different kind of personality. However he was always very loving, funny and enjoyed helping kids. Dakota describes her father as goofy and loved taking walks and going to the movies with him. Pete enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty and American Choppers. Pete attended church at the Escape Ministties.
