Patricia was born on September 15, 1942 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was the daughter of William Leon and Irma (Wilson) Bradley. She was raised and received her early education in a one room school, Chapel Hill Elementary, near Arlington, Texas. As the City of Arlington grew, Patricia attended Arlington Public Schools through the 8th grade. She then moved with her family to Mansfield, Texas where she graduated from Mansfield High School in 1960.

Upon graduation, Patricia attended Business College in Fort Worth, Texas for two years. Patricia eloped, or ran off to get married as her father put it, to Tahlequah, Oklahoma with Bill Nauss and was married on June 12, 1961. The couple established their initial home in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where they resided until moving to the Tulsa area in 1969. While in the Tulsa area they resided in Claremore and Tulsa. Patricia accepted employment with K-Mart in Sand Springs, Oklahoma in 1987 and worked as a retail sales clerk for nearly twenty-years, retiring in 2007.

Bill and Patricia moved to Cleveland in 2005 where they have continued to reside until her death on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the age of seventy-three. Patricia had many hobbies including crafts of all kinds. She was an avid reader and was often found with a book in her hands. She loved detail work and often spent countless hours crocheting or painting craft projects. She loved working in the yard and maintained a beautiful flower garden, changing the colors with the seasons. She was a meteorologist of her own training, often predicting the weather with the persimmon seeds and spider webs, always saying, “I’m telling you” in regards to the weather. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Patricia didn’t like to journey too far from home but enjoyed camping and fishing in the local area with her family. She was described by her family as a special and loving mother, grandmother and sister who was generous, caring and nonjudgmental. She was a unique individual who cared immensely for her family and would do anything for them. She wasn’t really excited about daylight savings time when it came around each year as she often said she liked the regular, old timey time.

Patricia is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Bill Nauss of the home; two sons, Ronnie L. Nauss of Tulsa, Oklahoma and David L. and his wife, Greta Nauss of Cleveland, Oklahoma; daughter, Cindy Holman of Cleveland, Oklahoma; sister, Elaine Wesley of Allen, Texas; twelve grandchildren: Amanda Philpot, Jennifer Rosales, Heather Wilson, Ronnie Nauss, Jr., Billy Nauss, Keith Holman, Justin Holman, Joanna Wolf, Tyler Nauss, Matthew Nauss, Jessica Wolf, Jesse Nauss; and twelve great-grandchildren.
