Dustyn Nicole Elaine Fleming was born June 19, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Mark Garrison and Suzanne Fleming-Garrison. Nicole moved with her family when she was five weeks old to Houston, Texas. Her family relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1989 where Nicole attended two Lutheran Schools, Immanuel Saint Michael Lutheran and Bethlehem Lutheran. While in school, Nicole was active on the track and volleyball teams.

In 1998, Nicole and her family moved to the Oklahoma and then to the Cleveland area in 2001 where she completed her high school, graduating from Cleveland High School. While attending high school, Nicole received her Certified Nursing Assistant certification at Central Tech in Drumright. She later attended Platt College in Tulsa where she graduated from the Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy program. Nicole has always been active working numerous jobs while in high school and attending college, including Uncle Willie's Daylight Donut and the Mainstreet CafÈ in Sapulpa and the Dari-Diner in Cleveland. She was employed for nearly two years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford. Nicole just recently accepted employment in the skilled nursing department at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Nicole was an active person who enjoyed spending time with her friends. She loved to sing, dance and tell jokes. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her companion and friend, Spencer; they also like to ride horses together.

Nicole passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Cleveland Area Hospital at the age of twenty-years, nine months and fifteen day. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Suzanne Garrison, at home; two brothers, Thomas Fleming of Greenfield, Indiana and Arthur Garrison, at home; companion and friend, Spencer Tyler of Hominy, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Eli and Donna Prater of Hominy, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Sharon Fields of Indianapolis, Indiana; maternal grandfather, Keith Ferrebee of Rockport, Texas; and great grandmother, Marciel Shull of Wapakoneta, Ohio.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 p.m at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:30 pm, Saturday, April 8, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Hominy with Rev. Pete Martin officiating. Services are under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland.
