Michelle Warren

Michelle was born on December 24, 1983, in Cleburne, Texas. She was the daughter of Michael Duane and Vicki Lynn (Hegdal) Fitts.

Michelle initially grew up in Texas, moving to Cleveland during middle school and completing her education at Cleveland High School. Following high school, Michelle attended Job Corps in Tahlequah. In 2004, Michelle returned to Cleveland and worked as a waitress and at Sonic for several years. She later moved to Tulsa before returning in 2009. In 2020, Michelle began dating Josh, and they resided in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. During that time, she started her life of sobriety. While in Pottstown, she worked at QVC. Michelle was united in marriage to Joshua Warren on September 30, 2021, in Kansas City, Missouri, and they made their home in Independence, Kansas, where she is was residing. Michelle was looking forward to starting up once again her business of property preservation and clean up.

Michelle enjoyed attending church and being with her four children, Cailen, Gracelyn, Abel, and Jackson. Music was a big part of Michelle's life. Michelle was a very adventurous person, Going on hikes, and car rides. Michelle spent many hours making arts and crafts and loved sharing with her friends and family. She had a big heart and was always willing to give to others while doing without. Being with Josh was one of her favorite things, always stating that "his presence was her saving grace along with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." The two of them would always stop on the highways and pick wildflowers for each other. Josh had mentioned numerous times that Michelle was light to his darkness. Holidays were always notable for Michelle, making Easter baskets and decorating for Christmas and Halloween for her children. Michelle was a probably the biggest Dallas Cowboy fan in the World.

Survivors are her husband Joshua of the home; four children, Cailen, Gracelyn, Abel, and Jackson; father Michael Fitts and his wife Sheri of Mannford, Oklahoma; three siblings Zeke Fitts of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Joe Fitts of Denver, Colorado, and Brandi Summers of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; stepfather Paul Lauersdorf of Houston, Texas; aunt Tracie Lewis of Owasso, Oklahoma; uncle Pat Fitts of Owasso, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Lauersdorf.

Services will be held 1:11 pm, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the First Christian Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma with Pastor David Logsdon officiating. Burial will be held in the Terlton Cemetery at Terlton, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
