Mary Pauline Blackburn, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, in Perkins, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.

Pauline was born on February 13, 1927, in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Paul and Minnie Mae Millard. As a young girl Pauline, was raised and received her education in the Foyil area. Following the completion of her education Pauline, was united in marriage to Frank Morgan. Pauline and Frank made their home in the Chelsea area. Several years later Frank lost his life in a automobile accident in the early 1950’s. Pauline was later united in marriage to Harold E. Blackburn on December 23, 1954. The couple remained in the Chelsea area and later in 1961, moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. During the time Pauline lived in Tulsa, she worked at Warehouse Market as a checker. In 1977, Pauline and Harold moved to Hallett and purchased his families farm where she has continued to reside.

Pauline enjoyed crocheting and tending to the farm when she was able. She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Hallett.

Survivors are her three children Debra Pleasant and her husband Keith of Turley, Oklahoma, Bob Blackburn and his wife Tina of Sublette, Kansas, James Blackburn and his wife Susie of Hallett, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Paul Millard, mother Minnie Mae Millard, husband Frank Morgan, son Frank Blackburn and one brother Wilburn Millard.

Graveside Services will be held 4:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Bethany Cemetery with Pastor Larry Warnock officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Friends may share a memory with the family online at
