Mary Louise Hymer passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at her home in Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, three months and two days. Mary was born April 22, 1951, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of James H. and Agnes L. (Seals) Woody. Mary grew up in Copan where she began her education and graduated from Copan High School. Following high school Mary worked several odd jobs before being united in marriage to the love of her life Dale E. Hymer. The couple was married on June 16, 1972, in Dewey, Oklahoma. They established their initial home in Bartlesville prior to moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1977, Mary, Dale and LaDale moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma where she has continued to reside. Mary loved being with her family. Mary enjoyed playing Bingo at the local VFW, going to the casino and playing scratch off tickets. Mary also took up painting later in life which she enjoyed. She also loved to baking and her specialty was bread. One place Mary always dreamed of going to was Graceland because she was a huge Elvis fan. Most of all in life Mary loved being with her husband Dale. Survivors are her husband Dale of the home, daughter LaDale J. Hymer of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one brother Jim Woody of Wann, Oklahoma, one sister Marty Graham of Kennewick, Washington; two grandchildren Eugene and Daniel Bowman of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, mother in law Mary F. Hymer of Pawnee, Oklahoma as well as many other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her two brother Mike and David Woody. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Perkins officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
