Funeral services for Mary Jane Marie Williams will be held 10:00 am Thursday, November 11, 2004 in the Sanctuary of Westport Baptist Church with Dr. Eugene Perry officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.

Mary Jane Marie was born November 18, 1915 in Little River County, Arkansas to Joseph W. and Mary Magdalene (Henson) Bass. Mary Jane Marie was raised and received her education in Ashdown, Arkansas a community of Little River County. In the mid 1940ís Mary Jane Marie moved to Oklahoma City. She was later united in Marriage to John H. Williams.

Mary Jane Marie gained employment at O'Mealy's Cafeteria in Oklahoma City in the early 1950's. Mary Jane Marie continued to work there as a Pastry Chef until her retirement in the mid 1980's. Mary Jane Marie continued to reside in Oklahoma City until 1991. At that time Mary Jane Marie moved to the Keystone Lake Area near Cleveland, Oklahoma to be near her daughter and son in law Annette and Robert ìBobî Boyd due to her failing health. Mary Jane Marie was a member of the Westport Baptist Church.

Mary Jane Marie passed away Monday, November 8, 2004 at the age of 88 years 11 months and 20 days. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband John Williams, daughter Patsy Deese, son Paul L. Lewis, five brothers James Bass, Willie Bass, George Dee Bass, Horace Bass and Eugene Bass as well as one sister Lela Young.

Survived by her two daughters, Peggy L. Boyd of Bakersfield, California, M. Annette and her husband Robert Boyd of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two sons, Waylin F. and his wife Renee' Lewis of Norman, Oklahoma; Thomas E. and his wife Belva Lewis of Wellington, Texas; one brother John and his wife Violet Bass of Marshall, Texas; 26 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 25 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Waylin Lewis, Thomas Lewis, Robert Boyd, John Bass, Marcus Mast, and Ron Watson.
