Mark Allen Kelley

Mark Allen Kelley, Cleveland area resident for the past twenty-four years, he was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding. Mark also enjoyed watching firework displays and lighting fireworks. Mark was born April 6, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois; the son of Clarence Houston and Janet Kay (Masters) Kelley. He was raised in Chicago and received his early education there. He later moved with his family to Shawnee, Oklahoma and then to Kellyville, Oklahoma, where he completed his education. After the completion of his education, Mark worked in numerous capacities but primarily in the field of tree and brush removal for right-of-ways. For the past several years, Mark has served as a crew chief for a right-of-way clearing company in Tulsa. Family was an important part of his life; Mark was especially proud of his wife, boys and grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his brother, sister and his mother and father-in-law. He often revealed that his brother, Willie, perhaps had the most influence on his life. Some of Markís fondest memories were around the dinner table, setting up the table for dinner and then the fellowship with family and friends during and after dinner. Mark often recalled a trip he made to California as a teenager was one of his fondest memories. He could often be quoted as saying, ìI canít do this no more.î His favorite music was rock and country. He expressed on many occasions that he would like to have got a twelve point buck and reflecting back would certainly spend more time with his family. Mark passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of forty-five years, four months, twenty-six days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Janet Kelley; brother, William Richard Whitson; sister, Jewel Kelley; niece, Kristi Lynn Blevins.
