Lori Ann Hanna

Lori Ann Hanna, 61, passed from this life on October 27, 2021 at her home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Lori was born on May 31, 1960, in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Larry and JoAnna (Connor) Richmond. Lori grew up in Broken Arrow, spent a short time in Ponca City, later settling with her family in Cleveland in 1971, graduating from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1978. Following high school, Lori gained employment with Dover Norris in West Tulsa. In 1985, Lori was united in marriage to Steve Hanna in Arkansas. The couple then established their home in the Keystone area where she has continued to reside. In the late 1980’s, Lori opened the Cove Restaurant serving lunch and dinner and operated the restaurant until 2000. After closing the Cove, Lori worked in the Clyde Boyd Middle School cafeteria until her health further declined.

Lori was a member and attended Lake Area Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting, playing card games with family, and cheering at all her “kids” sporting events, whether they were family, students from Clyde Boyd, or worked for her at The Cove. Her love for others was evident in her servant heart to her friends, family, patrons, and students.

She was an animal lover and cared for many in her home throughout the years.
Lori loved to travel, her most memorable trip was to California and Arizona with her family. Her momma’s Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Logan’s Roadhouse were her favorite ways to celebrate. Lori was a two time cancer survivor and known for her tenacity throughout her declining health.

Survivors are her son, Stroth Hanna and his wife Sarah, mother JoAnna Richmond, brother Terry Richmond, all of Cleveland Oklahoma; three grandchildren Kylar, Kaden, and Kelainey and a host of other relatives and friends. Lori was preceded in death by her father Larry Richmond and a brother Larry Dale Richmond.
