Linda Rossman

Linda Darlene Rossman passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Tulsa Oklahoma at the age of sixty seven years, eleven months and nine days.

Linda was born December 4, 1948, in Wichita, Kansas. She was the daughter of Linton Oliver and Darlene Frances (Couchman) Napier. Upon the completion of her education, Linda was united in marriage to Paul Rossman and relocated to Denver Colorado. When her children were young the Rossman’s relocated to California for a handful of years until Linda moved to Cleveland Oklahoma in the early 1980’s. During her time in Cleveland, Linda worked at Napier’s Mirror and Glass and the local Ball convenience store. In the 1990’s, Linda moved to Oilton Oklahoma, and worked serving our Veterans at the Elks Lodge in Cushing Oklahoma. In 2006, Linda retired and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be closer to her daughter and family until she passed.

Linda was a loving and caring person who was filled with humor and compassion for others. She certainly knew how to laugh, and how to make others do the same. She was very active at home and loved arts and crafts, dancing, and live music. Linda especially loved the outdoors, and was known for tending to her flower garden. Camping was something she loved to do with her family. Linda was a huge Denver Broncos fan and would eagerly watch every game she could. Linda would give her all in everything that she did. She enjoyed working at the Elks Lodge where she was able to share her shining personality freely with our Veterans. In fact, she was known by many to go above and beyond when it came to her position. She took extreme joy in sharing in others happiness. Linda loved animals, especially her daughter’s dogs.

Linda has certainly left her mark on this world, and is survived by many who loved her greatly to include: her son Michael Rossman and his wife Caroline of Las Vegas Nevada, her daughter Kimberly Garland-Toppah and her husband Terry Toppah of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, her brother Jack Napier of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her sisters Brenda Sharp of Conway, Arkansas, and Janice Fisher of Kyle Texas, her four grandchildren Jakob Garland, Reagan Garland, Luke Rossman, Tristan Rossman, and numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Charles Jenkins and a sister Diana Mooney.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am this Wednesday the 16th of November at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel. Friends are encouraged to share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.
