Chapel services for Linda Diane Mooney will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2009 in the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Linda was born July 22, 1944, Waukegan, Wisconsin she was the daughter Hugh and Ardel (Lewis) Bradford. Linda began her education in Kenosha and later graduated from the Bradford High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin. At the completion of her education Linda began working for General Motors. Linda continued working there and later moved to Hominy, Oklahoma in 1978. During this time she gained employment at the Hominy Hospital. She later started working at the Cleveland Hospital and then accepted a position at Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs. Linda continued working at the facility until its closure in the late 1980ís when she retired after 15 years. Linda loved to read, cook and bake things for her friends and family. She had recently begun reading religious based books from which she received great inspiration from. Linda always was looking forward to the next family get together so that she would be able to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was also a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Cleveland. Linda Diane Mooney passed away on September 20, 2009 at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home at the age of 65 years. Survivors are her two sons Jason Bradford and his wife Jessica of Hominy, Oklahoma; Gino Fasci of Cleveland, Oklahoma; four sisters Lucille, Nancy, Betty, and Vickie; five grandchildren Jalyn, Jason Jr., Alexis, Paige and Jacob as well as numerous other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her two brothers Hugh, Jr. and George as well as four sisters Jane, Dorothy, Barbara and Jenny.
