Kathleen Elizabeth Dickson, 62, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the St. John Medical Center. Kathleen was born July 11, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jack Marcus and Miriam Joanne (Rhodes) Fees. As a young girl Kathy was raised and received her education in Tulsa and later graduated from McClain High School with the class of 1968. Following high school Kathy began working cleaning offices in the downtown area and later gained employment with Rockwell North America. On July 3, 1987, Kathy was united in marriage to James Degenarr Dickson. The couple made their initial home in Tulsa. Kathy and James later moved to Sand Springs, Oklahoma before moving to the Cleveland Area. During their time in Cleveland Kathy and James managed the Ballerina Edgewater trailer facility for over 10 years. Kathyís favorite thing in life to do was show dogs. Kathy and James have traveled throughout the United States showing their Lhasa Apsoís. They have raised numerous best of show, blue ribbon and champions. She is listed as a breeder of AKC Registered Lhasa Apso show quality dogs. Kathy is also well known for her animals throughout the United States. Most of all in life Kathy enjoyed being with her family and dearly loved each and every one of them. Survivors are her husband James of the home, son Michael Wayne Love of Tulsa, Oklahoma; mother JoAnn Fees of Owasso, Oklahoma; two brothers Tom Fees of Owasso, Oklahoma and Mark Fees of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandson Zachary Lee Love of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous other relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her father. Private interment of the cremated remains will be at a later date in the Terlton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
