Kaitlynn Jo Smith Bentley

Kaitlynn Jo Smith Bentley, age 20, of Cleveland passed from this life on Friday, October 23, 2020. Kaitlynn was born December 1, 1999 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Robert Greg and Melissa Lynn (Rea) Bentley. When she was three years of age, the family moved to Cleveland, OK where she grew up and attended Cleveland schools. Kaitlynn enjoyed spending time with her friends and considered herself a “free spirit”. She also enjoyed singing, and when in high school, sang in the chorus. But her pride and joy was her son Easton.
Those that survive include her parents – Robert and Melissa Bentley of Cleveland, her son Easton Jo Phelps, also of Cleveland, a brother Eric Bentley of Hominy, and a sister Debra Landry of Broken Arrow. Also surviving is her maternal grandmother Vivian Rea Gentry of Sand Springs, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
At Kaitlynn’s request, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at the Mannford Church of Christ with Tony Keesee officiating. Date of the service is October 31st at 11 A.M. A meet and greet with the family will follow the service.
