Judy Eileen Pridgen passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, in Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years, eleven months and eighteen days.

Judy was born November 24, 1961, in Hominy, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jack and Bobbie (Powell) Hulet. Judy grew up in Cleveland where she began her education. Judy attended school in Cleveland and at the completion of her education; Judy was united in marriage to Butch Pridgen on April 25, 1978. Soon after their marriage Judy and Butch began traveling with the wheat harvest. Following the completion of the harvest Judy and Butch returned to the Cleveland Area. They later began traveling the United States while Butch was employed with the IBEW electrical union. The two later returned to the Cleveland area in the mid 1980’s where she has continued to reside.

Judy had many things she enjoyed in life. Some of them include sewing, painting and making jewelry for her family and friends. Judy was also a excellent cook and loved to make sweets. Spending time with her grandchildren was very important to Judy as well as being with her family. She had most recently been a major part in helping take care of mother.

Survivors are her daughter Erica Pridgen and Harland McGriff of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; mother Bobbie Hulet of Cleveland, Oklahoma, three sisters Jackie Dickey and her husband Bryan of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Brenda J. Bergin of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Mary E. May and her husband Jesse of Hominy, Oklahoma, Randall Bergin of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, three grandchildren Mya Pridgen, Jashon McGriff, Marissa McGriff and a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing. Judy was preceded in death by her father Jack, husband Butch Pridgen and most recently her sister Liz Harzman.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday, November 16, 2015, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. David Head officiating. Burial will be held privately in the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
